From Bryce Canyon City to Cedar City

Cedar City is a quaint little town nestled in the mountains just 30 minutes north of St. George, Utah. This town is most famously known for its annual Shakespeare Festival and beautiful surrounding mountains which include the National Monument Cedar Breaks. This town is rich in history and it shows while you drive through downtown. There are always fun events going on year round in Cedar for the whole family to enjoy. Visit Cedar City and enjoy the fresh crisp mountain air, culture and scenery.

  • Head north on Hwy 63 from Bryce Canyon towards Hwy 12
  • Take a left on Hwy 12 heading west
  • Stay on Hwy 12 until you run into Hwy 89
  • Turn left on Hwy 89 to head south towards Hatch
  • Drive through the town of Hatch and continue on Hwy 89 heading south
  • Stay on Hwy 89 until the turnoff to Hwy 14
  • Take a right onto Hwy 14
  • Stay on Hwy 14 until you reach Cedar City
From Bryce Canyon City to Salt Lake City

  • Head north on Hwy 63 from Bryce Canyon towards Hwy 12
  • Take a left on Hwy 12 heading west
  • Stay on Hwy 12 until you run into Hwy 89
  • Turn right on Hwy 89 to head north towards Panguitch
  • Drive through the town of Panguitch and continue on Hwy 89 heading north
  • Stay on Hwy 89 for another 20 minutes or so until the turnoff to Hwy 20
  • Take a left onto Hwy 20 heading west towards I 15
  • Stay on Hwy 20 until you reach I 15, and then head north to Salt Lake City
